The golden art. Wow. Hardly any material has been fascinating so many people over so many centuries. Even more if it is put into fine art. Even more amazing than the finest art created by skillful artists is to understand the good news of incarnation, to recognize the significance that on our behalf Jesus was tormented in order to redeem us. Us, who do not deserve his grace. The son of God suffered even to physical death on the cross in order to set us free from all our sin and wrongdoing no matter how much we have failed. The Lord sets us free and gives to everyone who humbly receives that present a fulfilled life with purpose here and in eternity. There is no better way than to sing, tell on and proclaim that good news, so that many more may participate in the golden art of recognizing its significance.
