The Growing Seed 🌱 | Mark 4:26–29 📖

Series: Thy Kingdom Come: Parables of Heaven for Life on Earth

Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

Sunday Morning

Date: 11th May 2025

Passage: Mark 4:26-29

-------------------

🎙️ In today’s message, Pastor Patrick Dailey teaches from Mark 4:26–29:
“The Growing Seed”

This short but rich parable shows us that spiritual growth is mysterious, progressive, and God-driven. The man plants and waits. The earth — γῆ (gē) — does its quiet work. And in time, the harvest comes.

Key themes from today:

  • Spiritual formation happens in stages: blade → head → full grain.
  • Faithful parents and leaders aren’t called to force fruit — just to plant faithfully.
  • God’s sovereignty in growth invites us to peace, not pressure.

This message is especially meaningful for anyone in a season of waiting, parenting, discipling, or doubting.

May it remind you:
Even when you can’t track the growth — you’re still part of the miracle.
