The Long Podcast Road Travelled Part 2

from Phil Hulett and Friends · host Phil Hulett

After 367 podcast episodes recorded at LA Radio Studio, today is the "Final Broadcast." As such, we invited co-hosts from shows past to visit, and visit they did. In the studio, Gonzo Greg Spillane, Kelly Bennett, Kellie Sue Peters, Stew Herrera, Mike Walters, Dale Lopes, Intern Ricky and of course, Phil Hulett. On the phone, Jay (Call me Jayson) Campadonia, Kelly J, Lisa May, Brooke Peterson, Chris Martin and Katie Elsasseur. Every one of them celebrating LA Radio Studio and our show's long podcast run at this location. Executive Producer, Mike Stark decided this would be the day he would shut down the studio on his terms. Redevelopment of our harbor side shopping district, Ports O'Call in San Pedro, California, is being demolished to make way for a new development called the San Pedro Public Market. Big mistake, but that's another story. Today is a day of celebration. We also did a show! Subscribe to hear both parts! In Part 2, Intern Ricky reveals he was hired by a radio station, of was he? We're so proud of him! Stew Herrera explains why he has a Lemmy Kilmister mustache. Gonzo Greg reports on a guy who brought a blow-up sex doll on a plane and then, uh, well, you know. Delta Airlines recently singled out Pit Bulls and related breeds to ban from all flights. Ed Santos is father to an autistic daughter who's had an Emotional Support Pit Bull since she was a toddler. Santos addresses Delta's policy. Los Angeles Radio favorite, Lisa May checks in to talk about what fun she had co-hosting the show days after she was let go from her 2-decade radio home. Phil asks her why at her new radio job she doesn't get the respect she deserves! Listen to Lisa's gracious answer. She's the best! Next Nancy Randal is the co-owner of a store that buys and sells LEGOs! She checks in to talk about this unique concept and why she and her female business partner are making history. Former PHAF Producer, Brooke Peterson phones in from the east coast to reminisce about the week she joined the show in 2014. She can't wait to get back and co-host the show again. Live from Honolulu, Chris Martin talks about getting wet on the show and becoming more of the man he is today because of his time in the studio. Phil also double-checks Chris' relationship status, just in case you wanted to know! Ultimately this is a show of fun, comedy, great memories, information, and some tears. Thanks for coming along for the ride. Don't miss part 1 - Subscribe!
