Last year was a bumper year for Irish cinemas. ‘Barbenheimer’ was the phenomenon of the summer that drove thousands of people to the silver screen. But the long-term trend for cinema-going in Ireland is not great. The arrival of Netflix and prime video poses an existential threat. Joining Joe this morning was Mark Anderson the General Manager of the Omniplex chain of cinemas.
