THE LORD IS MY REFUGE!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 (NKJV) Message: Life can be overwhelming at times. Unexpected trials, worries, and fears can shake us, making us feel vulnerable. But Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, always present to help us in times of trouble. A refuge is a place of safety, a shelter in the storm. No matter what we face, God invites us to take refuge in Him. He is not distant or unaware of our struggles—He is right there with us, offering His protection, strength, and peace. When the world feels chaotic, we can rest in the assurance that our God is unshakable. We don’t have to face difficulties alone—He is our stronghold, our comfort, and our help. Instead of running to fear or worry, we can run to Him. Today, ask yourself: Am I seeking refuge in God, or am I trying to handle everything on my own? How can I trust Him more in times of trouble? What fears do I need to surrender to His care today? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength. When troubles come, help me to run to You instead of fear. Remind me that You are always with me, ready to help. I trust in Your protection and rest in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
