Why The Long Face? Oliver Turnbull and Dr. Paul Keedwell A new Podcast shining a light on mental health.A psychiatrist and a management consultant walk into a bar. This should be the start of the lamest joke ever but, it turns out to be origins of Why The Long Face? - a new Podcast where we hope to shine a light on our wonderful but all-too-frail human spirit. There are many threats to our mental wellbeing – biological, psychological and social – and we, informed by the latest science, shared experience and the contributions of guests and listeners, are going to kick their arses and save humanity…maybe. In the first season, two old friends, Paul and Oliver, will be exploring some of the theories behind the causes of depression and will touch on topics that could help people who are suffering. This might well happen over the course of a drink or two. Surviving The System The Fringe FM Surviving The System is a podcast created to shed light on the hypocrisy and injustice of “the system” in our nation today. I founded this podcast after first hand experience of how the system works - the shady tactics by law enforcement, the blatant disregard for the law by the legal system, the ever increasing attempts to crush the human spirit by the prison industrial complex and so called “re-entry” efforts. All of it appearing to be designed to keep people beat down, with no opportunity to learn and grow from their past mistakes. Since my experience with the system, I’ve learned that things are almost never cut and dry, right or wrong. So called “criminals” are some of the most compassionate, talented and intelligent individuals this world has to offer. On the flip side, there are some people who appear to lead the perfect life are all too often miserable human beings who are simply better at hiding their crimes from the rest of the world. My goal by starting Surviving The System RAW Leadership Steve Barker Hi, my name is Steve Barker and I host the RAW Leadership Podcast. The purpose of the RAW Leadership Podcast is to help inspire young, emerging Leaders to step into their potential. The RAW Leadership Podcast will also serve the more experienced Leaders with insights, hints, tips and hacks. Leadership is all about people and this is why the RAW Leadership Podcast is about the "Human Skills" or as they are often referred too... the soft skills of Leadership. Having served 26 years in the Royal Air Force all over the world I have a vast array of experiences and skills in "People". I lived in cultures for years on end and had to observe and learn how to communicate and influence effectively with those around me. I will interview Business Leading experts and we will dive into their experiences and lessons so we can all learn from them. The RAW Leadership Podcast is here to support you to become the very Best Leader you can be. Sagewolf Interviews Sagewolf The dirtiest secrets. That's what's happening here. Well...not entirely. Humans have always fascinated me. I'm most curious about what drives us creatively forward in our lives. When others share their stories with me, I arrive a little closer to knowing how many parallels we all share - how big this human family is, and that comforts me. I hope that by sharing these with you, you might know that too. I also hope that I'm able to present these in a way that you have a visceral experience - like you're there with us at the time and place of the interview - inside these beautiful human exchanges. These moments of connection are truly everything we humans seek when life is all boiled down to it's essence. I included the full audio, with the exception of minor edits of extremely personal information, as requested by my subjects. Many of these interviews are told "between the questions" - as is life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do If you feel insp
