THE MIRACLE IN THE WAITING

Scripture: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…” — Isaiah 40:31 Devotional Message: Waiting is one of the hardest disciplines of faith. In the waiting season, silence can feel heavy and delay can seem like denial. Yet, Scripture reminds us that waiting on the Lord is never wasted time. It is in the waiting that God strengthens our inner man, reshapes our character, and aligns our desires with His perfect will. Often, we look for miracles in sudden breakthroughs, but many times the greatest miracle is what God is doing within us while we wait. Patience is formed, faith is refined, and trust is deepened. The waiting room of God is not empty—it is full of divine activity. Even when you cannot see movement, heaven is working on your behalf. If you are in a season of delay, take heart. God is not slow, and He is never late. What He has promised will surely come to pass at the appointed time. The waiting is preparing you to sustain the miracle that is coming. Today, Ask Yourself: What is God teaching me about trust and endurance in this season of waiting? Prayer: Lord, help me to trust You in the waiting. Strengthen my faith when answers seem delayed, and teach me to rest in Your timing. I believe that even now, You are working all things together for my good. Amen.
