He has a BA in Anthropology from University of Illinois at Chicago (USA) and a Masters in Cultural Anthropology from Leiden University (Netherlands). Having spent nearly 15 years in residence in Yogyakarta Province, Patrick has accumulated specialized knowledge in various aspects of the spirituality, culture, history and ancient literature of Java, deepening himself in ancient sources to help explain the contemporary manifestations of traditional and authentic Javanese culture and practices.He is preparing a doctoral research PhD in the same vein, and shares his passion and knowledge through lectures, exhibitions and guided tours through circuits connecting ancient sites dotting the Central and East Javanese landscape.Join us as we explore Patrick’s fascinating work with the Javanese Master Healers, the synergies between Tibetan and Shamanic frameworks, how understanding the energy body and the self is the starting point of all spiritual enquiry, and the amazing healings he has witnessed in his time in Java...and so much more!To connect with Patrick, he can be emailed at [email protected]
