The More You Resist, the More You Suffer

from Create with Elyse · host Elyse-Anne

38: The only reason why we suffer mentally and emotionally is because we resist the current situation.⠀ ⠀ 🗣We're comparing our current reality to the past of future because we hope it had turned out another way. Well, if you can't accept it, then you'll suffer. Your mind will always be spinning and you end up with a whole bunch of negative thoughts.⠀ ⠀ 💁‍♀️Negative thoughts are from the ego. Past believe systems and old paradigms. Clearly it's not serving. You know that because you can feel it in your gut. When you're in alignment with the Truth, you feel good.⠀ ⠀ 💪So learn to take "negative" emotions as feedback. It is what it is until we give it a story. What I've learned is that basically the negative comments in your head comes from an unhealed and wounded self.⠀ ⠀ 🙏If you can accept it and give it the attention it wants, it'll subside and eventually go away. When you're calm and collected, this is the time to go into enquiry mode.⠀ ⠀ 👉Find out what's the root case of this anger or feeling. Once you know, you set yourself free from the effect. This is all part of the journey to getting to know who you truly are and live life on your own terms. No one said life is easy. But it's rewarding when you do the work.⠀ ⠀ ❤ Elyse-Anne P.S.
