If you receive a gospel that is all about YOU... YOU will likely struggle and question the authority of God in your life. The moment God or His Word says something that feels wrong TO YOU, you push back. This is a completely different Gospel message!-The gospel is that God saved you, according to HIS great riches and love. -The gospel is that you are incredibly worthy... of deserving Wrath! But GOD, who is rich in mercy, bore your sin and the wrath of God in your place, in Jesus on the cross. Making you worthy only through his sacrifice!-The gospel is new life! A life to live no longer for YOURSELF, you’ve already done that! But a life that was created IN HIM, BY HIM, and FOR HIM. And so yes, you have a wonderful purpose but it is only wonderful because it is God’s purpose that you are invited to participate in! :: Sermon from June 30, 2024 | Speaker - Jordan Marsman.
