The OC (2003-2007) - The Soundtracks that Brought 2000s Indie-Rock to the Masses with Tara Giancaspro

Pop culture writer and songwriter, Tara Giancaspro, returns to the podcast to talk to Nicole and Ryan about the soundtracks to Josh Schwartz's television series, The OC, which ran 4 seasons between 2003-2007 and launched the career of Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl, Marvel's Runaways) and the many bands that were featured on the show. From Phantom Planet's iconic theme song, "California", to Seth Cohen's favorite band, Death Cab for Cutie, we try to cover as much of the music as possible, including the bands that played The Bait Shop. Since The OC was so music heavy, we also discuss the show's soundtrack supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas, who it turns out, has been pretty busy the last 25 years or so.
