The Pat & Aaron Show: 4/3/23

from The Pat & Aaron Show

The Pat & Aaron Show begins with Aaron Jacobson teasing Pat Donovan as he took a nap before the show began. Pat explains that he was up late watching the WWE, and that he enjoyed it. The conversation switches into NCAA women's basketball, and how much of a beast Caitlin Clark was! Aaron also brings up how great the Rays and Lightning were this past weekend, and that it was a good weekend in the bay. Then the guys talked about how brilliant of a pitching performance it was from Jeffrey Springs, and that it was OK that he wasn't in the game the whole time. After that, the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines. The 7:00 AM hour begins with a recap of this weekend in sports, including the Tampa Bay Rays and the Lightning! Then Aaron talks about what Tampa Bay Rays owner Stu Sternberg said, “And if we don’t, then there’s not a deal to be done, basically.” Aaron gives his take on that, saying that Tampa will never have the money to match St Pete, and Pat says that this doesn't make him feel good at all. Then the guys preview tonight's NCAA Championship, and they are annoyed that UConn is in the finals. Then the hour ends with Things I Like. The 8:00 AM hour begins with a debate about how the Tampa Bay Rays can continue their hot start, and make sure that the momentum continues into the rest of this season. Pat & Aaron also discuss how the attendance was great for the opening weekend, but they wonder if it will continue throughout the year! Then Aaron brings up how great of a weekend Wander Franco is having, and that he can be very special if he stays healthy. Then the hour ends with The Blender.
