The Performance Grief Process with Mark Hopkins - #87

from The Business Revolution · host Tetrakey with Rob Yates & Mark Hopkins

Grief is grief but how you bounce back is a key determinator! Sometimes things go your way and other times they don’t. It is really unlikely that you are going to win every time. You are going to have to cope with and bounce back from a loss every now and again. It is all part of life. Sometimes the result is out of your control. You create the perfect pitch but the client goes with someone else. Sometimes you create chance after chance but just don’t score the goal. Sometimes it just isn’t your moment! You may not have any control over the outcome BUT you do have complete control how you get off the canvas, how you dust yourself down and how you learn from the setbacks to move onwards and upwards. As long as you focus on these things, you will become a better version of yourself. When you get to the next critical juncture you can fall back on these learnings and experiences to ensure you give yourself the greatest chance of success. Improve the odds of being successful!
