The #FatBoyJoy Podcast Rod Butler This podcast and platform was launched to be a resource of empowerment, motivation, and encouragement, while pointing to Christ .The main objective of this podcast is to have and create conversations that consist of the battles and triumphs of daily life, while also providing strategy to accomplish such. All that I do here on this podcast and platform is from love, always focusing on the scripture:Philemon 1:7 - "Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people!" The Miss Fisher Philes Podcast Chandler O'Leary and Mary Holste Are you obsessed with Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries? Because we sure are.We are Mary and Chandler, two women who can’t stop—won’t stop—talking about this amazing show. We loosely recap each episode and discuss its theme, what’s happening with the characters, the gorgeous sets and costumes, and the Phrack. Ohhh, the Phrack. We try to stay on topic, but the conversation usually takes on a life of its own. Oh, and the actual mystery? We barely talk about it. That’s not why we’re here! Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne Loyal Books Jules Verne is the master of classic adventure tales. Around the World in Eighty Days is just more proof that his excellent writing skills put the readers right in the book with Phileas Fogg and Passepartout. Because of a bet by his friends, Phileas sets out to get all the way around the world in eighty days.Phileas is a rich man, but also very precise about his life. He wants everything done the way he likes and will get rid of anyone who does not do that. The wager starts when he is at a local club and begins an argument about whether a person could get all the way around the world in such a short period of time. He believes he can because a new railroad has been opened in India. Because he is so sure of his mathematical figures, he takes the wager and sets off with his new valet. He has a carefully planned route for them to travel by steamer boat and railroad. Their itinerary includes crossing the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean and Short Nonfiction Collection Vol. 034 Various Eighteen short nonfiction works in the public domain, independently chosen by the readers. Topics include the English countryside; William Randolph Hearst and journalism; the philosophy of Soren Kierkegaard, John Dewey and others; General William T. Sherman's voyage to San Francisco; the metric system, and the future of the machine age. (Summary by Sue Anderson) Bjornson's "Beyond Human Power" and Kierkegaard's "What Says the Fire Marshal?" were both translated by Lee Milton HollanderThe translators of Philemon's "The Highest Good" and Lessing's "On Love of Truth" are unknown.
