It's almost Indigenous Peoples Day and in honor of that this episode's guest is Sky Sampson, director of Western Carolina University's Cherokee Center Staff and enrolled member of the Eastern Band Cherokee Indians. On the episode we chat about the history of Cherokee Tribes, the EBCI, the importance of land acknowledgements and how to best honor indigenous people.
