The science behind why you won’t delegate

Know you need to delegate? But really struggle to? It's because your brain is keeping you safe.I know I should do it.I tell other people nearly daily to do it.Books have been written about it.So why is it SO hard to routinely and systematically delegate stuff to others? Particularly the stuff that matters?And yet, when it comes down to it, I and many others just don’t delegate. A blog post I was going to share via email. And yes, I updated the links myself… and I know I shouldn’t have done.We often tell ourselves things like:“It’s quicker if I just do it.”“No one will do it the way I would.”“I need it done now and can’t wait” “If it goes wrong, I’ll have to clean it up.”Sound familiar?This isn’t a time management issue.
