The Spirit Establishes Us as the Church

Tonight, Bishop teaches from Ephesians 3:14-20 on the power of God's love for His church. Apostle Paul teaches us God is our Father which gives believers our identity as "the Church." Apostle Paul's prayer points out four vital request: (1) inward power, (2) inward presence, (3), inward perception, and (4) inward provision. There is a threefold purpose of this. First, God's presence is established in our hearts. Second, we would be rooted and grounded in the revelation of God's love. Lastly, we would be filled with God's presence. Apostle Paul describes four dimensions of the intensity of God's love: (1) God's love reaches around the world; (2) God's love extends from eternity past to eternity future; (3) God's love addresses our deepest needs - no matter who or what; and (4) God's love came down from heaven to lift us to where He is, to meet us at the point of our need.
