I don't know about you, but when I'm on social media some of my favorite feeds are those of animals, and there are so many videos and photos dedicated to our pets and other types of animals. I think most of us just feel good when we are around our furry friends and if you own a dog it gives you the opportunity to get out of the house and be around other people. When you're facing a significant loss, you might want to lean on a pet for some extra support because they love you and just the act of touching, stroking, and hugging, a pet can be calming and offer feelings of comfort and connection.

My Dad, the man I looked up too, the man who in my eyes had 'everything' on paper took his own life. After it happened I struggled to deal with the grief, I buried the pain and found myself asking the question 'why' over and over again. I too then found myself struggling with depression and anxiety. This Podcast is all about documenting not only my own personal journey to discovering more about mental health and suicide, but to also document other stories too. It's time to talk about mental health, it's time to give it the voice it deserves and hopefully this Podcast can provide that. Hopefully this Podcast helps show others that they're not alone...Paul McGregor is an author, lecturer, a mental health advocate, husband, Father of 2 and avid Liverpool supporter.
