The Swinging Tree

The Swinging Tree by Sir Herbert Sneakies. An evil wizard sorcerer is looking for the famous gold tree. He uses his book to look for the tree. It's just a simple tree with an old wooden swing, says Wompus Rompus. Wompus sees tons of kids playing around the tree and a girl swinging on the wood swing.  Wompus waits till the kids leave and walks up to the tree. "Give me your gold coins and rubies."  The tree ignored old pompous Wompus. Wompus asks the tree to give him all of it's gold. The tree ignores him. Wompus demands the tree to give him to it's gold. The tree tells Wompus that he has a dark heart and it is black. Wompus gets angry and mad and curses the tree. Wompus waves his wand and puts a spell on the tree. No one will see you until you give me all of your gold and treasure. The tree doesn't budge so wompus casts the spell on the tree. The kids can't find the tree to play and swing. The tree can not be seen by kids, men or women. The birds can't even find the tree. The tree is forgotten and out of sight. The tree is all by itself for one hundred years until one day a little lost girl is crying. The tree hears her and wants to help but no one can see the tree. The girl however has a pure heart and sees the tree. The tree is so happy it sways the swing for the girl to sit and swing. The tree tells the girl he has magical gold rocks that will make a path for her to find her way back home.  The girl takes the gold rocks from the tree and they jump out and form a path to her home. Her mother is happy to have her daughter safely returned home. The Mom and daughter come back to thank the tree by watering it and fertilizing it. They cut the weeds and invite kids to come play. Wompus is upset that the gold and treasure was given to the girl. The girl turns the spot into a park called The Swinging Tree never to be forgotten again.
