Summary

A year and a half ago BC9 started an instrumental of this track and posted it on Splice.com for other producers to Splice the track and see what they could do with the stems. Over 1200 producers downloaded the stems. After some time away from the track BC9 would come back to The Underground after being diagnosed with cancer of the kidney. Writing the lyrics were an expression of how BC9 was fighting back with a message “There is no future-There is no past-Only Now. Staying in today and staying focused on multiple surgeries approaching BC9 decided to take a trip to visit another friend and producer Jonathan Loeser aka Invalid and go back to The Underground and finish some tracks. This is one of the tracks and there will be an instrumental version as well. The Underground EP & Video will be coming out soon. Thanks to all my fellow producers and artists who have supported me through this challenging time. Music is the only thing that can save us. I know it's saving me right now. The Underground: Written & produced by BC9. Mixed by Jonathan Loeser @invalidproductions.The Video created by BC9 using a creative commons license. The footage was provided by Darwinfish105, Beeple, Footage of the London Tube was taken on a trip there. I also went to The Printworks to see a friend perform and took the footage you see. The rest of the video was created at and around the Ginza subway stop in Japan. There will be two versions of The Underground available upon the worldwide release. One VIP version that includes The vocals of Downtempo Recordings new female vocalists that I will be introducing in time properly. Yes, the spoken word you hear in the song is BC#9. The lyrics will also be posted. I would like to thank all those who inspired this release as well as those industry professionals that had a significant role in making it happen. Jonathan Loeser aka Invalid did a beautiful job mixing the track as the audio engineer. I would like to also take a moment to give Big Ups to dnb united's and Downtempo Recordings new audio engineer who has just signed up as our new exclusive mastering engineer.
