The biggest news of the week was the final act of the Matias Almeyda saga in San Jose. After a 2-2 draw against Nashville SC, the team announced that they had parted ways with the charismatic manager.

Monterey Bay FC has one match left before their much-anticipated opening home match on May 7. San Antonio FC is looking for another clean sheet against a Monterey side that has struggled to get the ball in the net.
