Thunderball a James Bond novel by Ian Fleming

In this segment of Ian Fleming’s Thunderball, James Bond is ordered to a health clinic by M after a poor medical report, leading him to investigate the suspicious activities of a patient named Count Lippe. Simultaneously, the criminal organization SPECTRE, led by the ruthless Ernst Stavro Blofeld, executes "Plan Omega," which involves hijacking a NATO bomber and stealing two atomic bombs. Bond travels to Nassau, where he meets Domino Vitali, the mistress of the SPECTRE operative Emilio Largo, and discovers that her brother was the pilot murdered during the heist. Teaming up with CIA agent Felix Leiter and the crew of the submarine Manta, Bond engages in a high-stakes underwater battle to prevent the destruction of a missile base.
