Tina Cannon, Season One Winner of Netflix's BBQ Showdown, MLB Pitcher, Matt Wisler, and a Huge Announcement from Champion Pitmaster, Doug Scheiding Make Episode 222 a Rare Triple Play Tina Cannon has competed in barbecue competitions since 2009 with more than 200 category wins. She has appeared in cooking competition shows on Travel Channel, Destination America, Netflix, and Food Network, as well as some local networks.  Tina is a classically trained chef with over 35 years in the culinary industry.  She was the season one winner of Netflix's, American Barbecue Showdown.  Tina believes in giving back to the community and last year cooked over 60,000 meals for her local Meals on Wheels.  She sells the rub, Tina Cannon's European Blend, comprised of the same ingredients she used on winning beef ribs on BBQ Showdown, while donating the profits to charity.  To purchase the rub and special Tina Cannon related swag or to learn more about Tina go to https://tinacannoncooks.com Matt Wisler is a Major League Baseball pitcher.  He was drafted by the the San Diego Padres out of High school in the seventh round of the Major League Baseball draft.  In addition to the Padres, he has played for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants, and Tampa Bay Rays.  He is also a big "foodie" and loves taking pictures and videos of the various meals he eats out or prepares at home.  We talk baseball, barbecue, and all about the frequent use of his best pitch, the slider. Doug Scheiding is back and this time he has a huge announcement which has been two years in the making.  He has come out with the first of three rubs under the brand name, Rogue Cookers.  This one is named, Texas Brisket and is currently available at 91 Home Depot stores and that number is expected to rise.  The label is beautifully designed and mentions his role as a frequent guest co-host on Baseball and BBQ.  Doug is an embedded correspondent on The BBQ Central Show, a rocket scientist, an award winning pitmaster for the Rogue Cookers barbecue competition team, a Traeger Pellet Grills representative, and a Head Country brand ambassador.
