The Waverider was on the way back from Smallville to Central City, but we got sucked into this weird dreamscape.  Dreamer, Nia Nal played by Nicole Maines, has been working on her skills and is seeking the source of dream power. A hooded woman confronts her, Iris shows up and talks about control before being killed and Nia's powers are zapped.  In the real world she heads to Central City to talk with Iris. She and Iris are zapped to the dream realm.  The hooded figure is the sources of the dream powers and is helping Nia confront her fears and Iris is along for the ride.  She is facinge the article that will help her win her first Pulitzer, but she feels out of control. She feels shackled to her job. So the dreams are her way of exploring other carrers. Nia & Iris help each other confront their fears.
