TOP 25 DEATH ROADS IN AMERICA. To determine which road in America is the deadliest, the data must show the highest deaths per distance per road. The article which American Trucker Magazine posted recently, shows the number one road at one death per mile on the winning road. Most roads like Interstate 10 in Santa Monica , CA to Jacksonville FL which is 2,460 miles is netting .597 deaths per mile or a little over 1 death per 2 miles. Most of the roads are in that 1 death per mile, which is dealt enough. But the number one road in America is showing a whopping 1.134 deaths per one mile. That road of course has been number one for a long time and that is a stretch running from Tampa FL to Daytona FL known as Interstate 4. TOP 25 DEATH ROADS IN AMERICA. Inconsiderate Truckers Do you report and flat tires, used lights or any needed maintenance for a trailer being dropped in a drop yard? If not you are whats being talked about on this episode of TalkCDL Trucking Podcast. Truck drivers that do not report issues that need attention on a trailer are not looking out for their brother or sister that will be assigned to that particular trailer. by writing it up on your report, the trailer should be repaired for the next driver to pick it up without and delays. If a driver is assigned to a trailer that needs repair, it could cost that driver an entire days wage, waiting for it to be fixed. Tune in and hear Johnny Acids take on his experiences with out of service trailers. J.B. Hunt has partnered up with autonomous tech provider Waymo to move freight between Houston TX and Fort Worth TX. The autonomous level 4 autonomous technology will be monitored by a driver, an autonomous technician and a software specialist. The customer was not named that will be receiving this service. This is just the beginning of the end. The furture is not looking good for the American worker. The loss of jobs in the distant future is whats on everyones mind in the working field. One of the karma's that trucking companies should be concerned with, is, the shippers might also see that they do not need the trucking companies themselves. After all, if a trucking company can afford to purchase tractor trailers and make a profit delivering freight for shippers, then it only makes sense, that cutting out the trucking company and just hiring a logistics manager to monitor all then"autonomous rigs" would be a greater profit to the manufacturer. After all, all they will need to do is program the rigs to make their delivery! Sponsorship TalkCDL Become a sponsor for talkCDL and show your brand in front of millions.
