In particular, Prof. Matheson helps us understand why many citizens around the world, including in Japan, have turned against the idea of hosting the Games. This show is built on excerpts from a presentation that Prof. Matheson recently gave to M.A. students at an Olympic colloquium in the Department of Kinesiology at Saint Mary’s College of California. We are grateful to Prof. Matheson not only for enlightening us on these important issues, but also for doing so in a highly entertaining way. Enjoy!
