Treating Back Pain in Seniors (with osteopath Chris Reeves)

from Osteopathy Australia · host Osteopathy Australia

As we get older, the body loses elasticity, increasing the chance of injuring the soft tissues and bony structures. The body also loses some of its ability to recover from injuries or strains. Osteopaths can offer treatment and advice to help harness your body's natural healing systems. This can improve mobility, circulation and balance, reduce joint stiffness and help you lead a more fulfilling life. Osteopathy's gentle techniques aim to maintain your health, increase mobility, improve balance, prevent further joint wear and tear, and help keep you active and independent. About Chris Reeves: Chris is the founder/Director of Parkdale Osteopathic Clinic, and has been providing osteopathic care for the bayside community over the past 12 years. Chris has grown up in Parkdale, attending St. John Vianney's Primary School and St. Bede's College, and completed his osteopathic studies at Victoria University. He has also previously worked as a supervising clinician at the Vic Uni Osteopathic Medical Clinic, a position he held for 5 years. Currently Chris is a full member of the Osteopathy Australia and the chairman for the Public Relations Committee.
