He also encouraged drivers to get their own DOT number and start hunting for customers by knocking on doors. This is how it is done Troy explained. He said it may take 1001 times calling till someone along with timing can crate an opportunity for you to get what he called "lead haul" freight. from there you work on backhauls to get you back to where your freight originates. You might not understand everything in one day but as you go you learn and you are that much farther ahead than the guy that says " I will start tomorrow since tomorrow never comes. Believe in yourself, Troy said and just move forward.
