True Wisdom

The ancient Greeks put a high value on the quest for wisdom. They exalted the human intellect and believed wisdom could be obtained through human reasoning and philosophical debate. When Christianity began to spread in the first century, most Greeks scoffed at the message of Jesus and the cross. They prided themselves in how intelligent they were, but in God’s eyes they were fools! True wisdom has nothing to do with the human intellect. True wisdom comes from God!
