TVW Special: A Love Language Called Safety | Discussing one of the most crucial needs of our times

from The Values Workshop · host Surendar Singh

Yes #womenssafety is topical but hasn't it been so for over so many years? With the recent heartbreaking incident, and the number of protestors, what seems to come out is the number of incidents which haven't been reported and continue to haunt so many women, men and all kinds of humans. I get to talk to Varsha Agnihotri Vadhyar, who covers much ground from personal responsibility for each one of us to systemic changes which need to be looked into, as of yesterday. The conversation is indicative of our fluctuating moods, difficult as it is, to understand how to comprehend such levels of inhumanity. The peaceful part of the talk, although it is just words, is a beginning to look at how we make a love language of small systematic acts of goodness. The problem is huge, overwhelming and is not going away in a hurry. But may our combined efforts, prayers and little acts begin to spread small ripples of kindness and empathy. It might be a cathartic kind of conversation, if you choose to listen in. For the video, check www.youtube.com/c/thevaluesworkshop
