La licitación que abrió la cancillería para adjudicar el suministro de pasaportes colombianos lleva días enfrentando varios cuestionamientos. Esta licitación, que suma 599 mil millones de pesos por 36 meses de trabajo, está siendo cuestionada porque al parecer se habría hecho para favorecer al actual proveedor, Thomas Greg & Sons. Esa firma ha manejado ese negocio por 17 años y, además, es una de las poderosas contratistas del Estado en temas electorales.
