Understanding the Ruach/Spirit - Part 3

from Messianic Torah Observant Israel · host Steve Berkson

Rabbi Steve Berkson continues where we left off in part two on the subject of The Spirit of haSatan vs The Spirit of Elohim as we move into part three. Rabbi Berkson begins in 1 John 5:18-19 where we learn about guarding ourselves and not allowing the “wicked one” to gain a foothold in our lives. We see a definition of the Hebrew phrases ‘Yetzer haRa’ or ‘evil inclination’ and ‘Yetzer haTov’ which is the ‘good inclination’. Then, just as we are about to go to Revelation 12, Rabbi Berkson takes us on a “Rabbi Trail” about the ‘Victim Mentality’ which is devastating to success in walking the path that leads to reward and life.In this lesson Rabbi Berkson begins to define the meaning of Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) taking us to Isaiah 55:6-9 where it is written that the ways and thoughts of YHVH are higher than ours.We will learn what ‘staying in Him (Messiah Yeshua)’ means as Rabbi Berkson teaches from 1 John 3:1-10. John is repeating his writing in the Gospel of John chapter 15 where Yeshua taught His disciples about the vine and the branches.Don't miss out on new teachings every week.
