UPE: New Year, Same Me - Anti-Resolutions for 2026

from Muddle Buddies with Jacy Luce

It’s a new year… and I am still very much myself. In this Unforeseen Prior Engagement episode, I’m skipping the resolutions and sharing my anti-resolutions—the things I fully plan to keep doing in 2026. Like underestimating how long everything takes, believing a warm drink can fix most problems, needing reminders for things I deeply care about, and growing slowly enough that I usually only notice it in hindsight. If you didn’t magically become a new person when the calendar flipped, you didn’t fail January. Maybe this year doesn’t need a big reinvention or a perfectly color-coded planner. Maybe it just needs more honesty, more kindness toward yourself, and a lot less pressure to rush the process.New year. Same human. Still learning. Still growing. Still worthy of grace. Welcome to 2026—it’s the year of buddies.
