Status 1 DJ- KingDtheDjArtist BioDarryl King- KingdtheDjAn experienced multi genre dj and producer for over 20+ years of providing crowd delight to all ethnic groups and ages. KingdtheDj first got the Dj bug in 1984 listening to Chicago's first dj mixshow featuring The Hot Mix 5. The sounds of disco, funk, soul, electro, and the birth of house music amazed his ears and sent chills down his spine. The first piece of gear he gathered to take on the craft of djing would be a gemini mixer, a boom box with a cassette and his mother's belt driven Zenith turntable. He mastered his craft by practicing hours and hours each day after school. After getting his skills up to standards he provided many a tone master mixtapes for fans leading up to basement parties in his neighborhood and making a name for himself. After he finally got himself at least one Technics SL1200 at college he borrowed a fellow college mates 1200 to go on to be the sole music provider of all parties in 1986 and 1987 on th
