Walk & talk w/ Rae: what do you have?

from The Breaking Moment Podcast · host Rajene Bowe

Hello everybody and welcome to another walk and talk with Rae. If you’re new to this welcome and if you’re not new to this welcome back❤️ This week I want us to focus on gratitude. I started the conversation asking who’s fighting your battle when everything around you feels like it’s too much? What if we lean into gratitude this week? Admits the storm, or not knowing how you’re  gonna pay the bills… let’s fight with  gratitude this week. We spend so much  time worried about what we don’t have or comparing ourselves to others and what they have but, that’s not the way to live life. Living life that way makes us miserable, unhappy, hateful, and angry. It’s easier to focus on what you don’t have. It’s more of a challenge to focus on what you do have. The truth is the things we have now we once prayed for, so why not be grateful for the things you do have?I encourage us this week to live in the present moment. Take out a piece of paper or use your phone and start off with three things that you’re grateful for… maybe it’s food, water, a house, a community, being able to buy groceries, the list can go on and on . This is how we renew our minds and this is how practice gratitude. Practicing gratitude can change our mood and it changes the way we think about our situation. If you found this helpful !
