We Are In A Literacy Crisis

Send a textIn this episode, I highlight the issues educators are facing, Black & Brown youth being behind academically, the lack of support and resources being left out the conversation as the school year around the United States is coming to an end. I reflect on my positionality as a Black woman educator and one who is from the city of Detroit and the changes that have been seen in the last 10 years.
