Wesley explains what his role looks like behind the scenes and shares the unexpected story of being elected Youth President for the Tennessee District of the United Pentecostal Church International—a position he served in from 2017 to 2025.

During the conversation, Wesley reflects on the creation of Tribal Wars, an idea that began during his time as Youth President and went on to reshape youth camp experiences not only in Tennessee, but across other UPCI districts as well.

Robert Crippen Captain Robert L. Crippen is a former NASA astronaut who flew on four Space Shuttle missions, including three as commander. An aerospace engineering graduate from the University of Texas in 1960, he entered the Navy’s Aviation Officer program.
