There were many accusations during the Dublin riots that the social media Giants might not have done enough to take down the spreading of hateful information. Many of them appeared before TDs and Senators last week but X ignored the invitation. That’s despite looming new legislation called the Digital Services Bill which will dramatically change the responsibility of the big online platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and X.

The Minister for Trade Promotion, Digital, and Company Regulation, Dara Calleary joined Joe this morning on the show.
