from The YouTube Power Hour Podcast · host Erika Vieira

Hey YouTube Power Hour Squad!    Did you miss my YouTube LIVE? Fear not, this week’s solocast is a replay of my YouTube Live! Grab your notebook and get comfy, this episode is packed with advice you won’t want to miss!   We are a full 6 months into 2020, which has been the craziest year for just about everyone. I don’t think anyone could have anticipated anything that has happened this year. Now that we are at the halfway point of this year, let’s step back and take a minute to assess where you want to be in the next 6 months. In this post-COVID world, it’s now more important than ever to be able to make money from home, and a lot of people have decided that being a full-time YouTuber is their vehicle to be able to do just that.    So what can you learn from this episode? Let’s ask ourselves the following:   Where do you want your channel to fit into your life? What analytics should you be paying attention to? What numbers should you be reaching towards? The choices you make today will take effect later. Sometimes that even means the videos you make today won’t take off until next year. The only thing that won’t help you is doing NOTHING. So… what are you doing NOW that will help you down the road? Are you where you wanted to be? Are you on track to where you want to be?   I have had some amazing guests on the podcast, and I am now booking guests for the upcoming season of the YouTube Power Hour! Who are your favorite YouTubers? Who do you want to see on the show?
