Time to go to what’s happening on the continent and today we zoom into South Africa where the Human Rights Watch released its report stating that xenophobic harassment and violence against African and Asian foreigners living in South Africa are routine and sometimes lethal. The HRW says despite the March 2019 adoption of a government action plan to combat xenophobia, the government has done very little to ensure that attacks by members of the public, the police, and government officials are investigated and that those responsible are held accountable.
AFRICAN KONNECTION AFRICAN KONNECTION With so much attention and dialogue on African culture this decade, it is time to encapsulate and share that experience with others around the world. So many misconceptions are allowed to spread without all the facts being presented, and it is damaging to the history of Africa.
