Beth Aala made this fascinating documentary and gave me the rare chance to create an original score that retained a consistent voice. I'm particularly proud of this one. If you haven't seen the movie, seek it out. It's the story of the McCarren Pool in Williamsburg, NYC and how it became a way-out music venue. Featuring performances by Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, The Breeders, Black Lips, The Hold Steady, Deerhunter and many more.
