In this podcast episode, I had a wonderful conversation with Adam Weber about his book and business Meditation Not Medicine.    The son of a doctor and nurse, Adam is no stranger to having "medicine" be the answer to everything that ails a human. However, after years in the corporate world, he found himself overly stressed but holding a desire to find a better answer to the stress than popping a pill to mask the problems.  After research, thought and a bit of soul searching Adam realized his answer came in the form of daily meditation practice.    During the 2020 pandemic, he came to realize there was more to the meditation effect. So Adam began developing a method of meditation that anyone can follow,  and in 2021 he published his first book Meditation Not Medicine and took his message to the world.    Adam shared with me, "And while [meditation] was known many years ago, from more of an Eastern or hippy type community, it would become more widely accepted over the years. And then with somebody like me who was wearing a suit every day, for a long time. Now I'll dress down wear a hat and a T-shirt. Pandemic did that to me. But that, you know, people started saying you're a different person. And when I would visit the hospital for my appointments, they would say something different, what's, uh, you know, and my test results and things like that came back more positive, not for the disease [MS] itself. But for other symptoms, things like blood pressure, blood pressure, high in fact that my blood pressure taken again, about two weeks ago, the lady said to me, she goes, this is really good for somebody your age, what you have going on?
