英语常用短语--Under the Weather

Ally: Andy, 我最近生病了，不太舒服。Andy: 那你可要好好休息。因为 “you are under the weather”。“Under the weather” 这个词好像和天气有关，其实和天气并没关系，是指身体上感觉不舒服。生病了你可以说“I am not feeling well.” 但更加地道的说法是 “I am under the weather.”  比如这几个例句：Sally is feeling a little under the weather so be quiet and let her get more rest.莎莉有点不舒服了，安静点让她多休息。I’m feeling under the weather so I’m taking a day off. 我今天不太舒服，所以我请一天假。Andy: Ally, sorry to hear that you are under the weather.
