Sooo many things happened in this last week of May, that we had to bring you an extra-long edition of the Best Friend Weekend Podcast. Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve and Los aka C.A.P. gathered to discuss the state of the world and the outlook for the summer. Rumble Williams led off the pod with his “distance travelled” theory (01:00) which led to us speaking on getting better with age, especially in sports (05:00). The three big stories at the center of the podcast were the lack of social distancing over Memorial Day Weekend (22:00), Joe Biden being too familiar and voting preferences (32:00) and the senseless murder of George Floyd (46:00). After Aldo had Nothin’ NICE to Say about going back to work and starting over (1:10:00), we had a very contentious argument over our role in defending white allies (1:15:00). The podcast was wrapped up with some entertainment stories about Quavo, Khloe & Ayesha, Jennifer Hudson and Carlton Banks (1:28:00).
