She studied psychology during her undergraduate and graduate careers until she decided to pursue a career in fitness. She entered the industry as a kickboxing instructor and worked her way up to manager of the facility. She then began working as a personal trainer in a large corporate gym and in her first full year, ranked as the number 6 trainer in the entire company but soon found herself limited by the confines of corporate bureaucracy.In April of 2019 she founded More Than Fitness combining her education, knowledge, and wisdom in the fields of psychology, kinesiology, exercise science and nutrition to promote a holistic and integrated approach to fitness. She believes that fitness has the power to transform your entire life, not just your body. Fitness is more than simply exercising and eating well. An intentional fitness process can help heal trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges as well as many chronic conditions and pain.Milana coaches her clients into creating deep, sustainable change throughout all aspects of their lives via fitness & lifestyle coaching.
