Passage: Romans 6:5-11

In Romans 6:5–11, Paul reveals that believers are united with Christ in His death and resurrection — the old self is crucified, and the “body of sin” has been rendered powerless. Pastor explains that sin no longer has a legal claim on us because Jesus died once for all and now lives to God. When we know this truth, reckon it as reality, and yield ourselves to God, we can walk in the freedom, identity, and resurrection power the Holy Spirit provides.
