Your State, Your Story, Your Strategy

from The Steven Sulley Study Podcast · host Steven Sulley

Doing These 3 Things Daily Will Make You Success  In today's episode Steven discusses 3 things that are vital for leading a successful life. Steven also shares some great podcast suggestions for anyone who is looking to be successful and gives his reasons why.     KEY TAKEAWAYS  Edmy Lett is an international life coach and multi-millionaire who I admire so much. He recently shared some great bits of information on his podcast, one of which is 3 things that you can control to improve your life:    Your state – How we’re feeling. For instance, if you’re feeling angry or fearful then control your emotions and get rid of that negativity in a way that suits you. I like to do this by going for a short 5-minute break or walk and regrouping myself before I go back out there and do what I need to do.  Your story – This is linked to your state. Usually, when you are feeling down it’s because of your inner self-doubt and what you’re telling yourself mentally. E.g. “This is too hard. I can’t do it. Maybe I’m not built for this. I’m not born to be a winner.” Change the way you talk to yourself so it’s positive and change your story.   Your strategy – Are you looking at your work? Are you looking at what the outcome should be for you? Are you being realistic about your strategy? Don’t take the scattergun approach where you are doing all these small things, which bring little bits of success, but not getting anywhere. If you look at any of the successful people in life, they usually have a phenomenal routine and plan that they stick to and become laser focused.    We all have good days and bad days but if you write down these three things daily then you can collate whether you are positively controlling these and turn what may be a bad day into an effective, productive and good one.  My main focus is providing my family with a lifestyle that we can enjoy by doing what we want, when we want and how we want. The only way I can do that is by being disciplined and executing my strategies on a daily basis.     BEST MOMENTS  ‘Am I controlling my state?’  ‘Am I controlling my story?’  ‘Am I implementing my strategy? Am I being disciplined towards my strategy? Am I working my plan properly?’   ‘The moment you change your story; the moment you change the way you talk to your self’  “A problem is not a problem. It’s a challenge.”  “If you’re going to share a problem, back it up with a solution”  “Success is not just 1 thing”  “When you are laser-focused, nothing can distract you.”  ‘Edmy Lett is a G who has spoken alongside people like Andy Frisella and Tony Robbins’.  “Invest in your whole entire life.”  “Do not underestimate the power of exposing yourself to very quality content.”    VALUABLE RESOURCES  https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-steven-sulley-study-podcast/id1434828547?mt=2  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1pbXdmYJkgm4uvVmXIFyvA   https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/ed-mylett-show/id1181233130  https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-mfceo-project/id1012570406    ABOUT THE HOST  The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success. My 'Study' has taken resources from reading and education plus being around, my perception, of successful people and I, know a lot of successful people from all walks of life. My 'Study' coming from my experiences in business, investing, sales (my core background), training, boxing and education has enabled me to become well rounded and successful.     CONTACT METHOD  http://www.instagram.com/sulley.steven  This show was brought to you by Progressive Media
