    In Episode 15 of How We Begin we dive into our conversation with a drama therapist from Thailand, Sarinrat “Jear” Thomas.Recognized as Thailand’s very first drama therapist, Jear’s journey began in the television industry before 2000. She later transitioned into drama therapy, reshaping both her professional and personal identity. Along the way, she has carried many roles — artist, educator, pioneer, and mother.This episode explores what it means to step into the unknown: leaving behind fame and stability to open new paths for mental health in Thailand, and using theatre as a way to heal both self and others.Guest:Sarinrat Thomas, known as Jear, is the first drama therapist in Thailand. After a successful career in television, she transitioned into drama therapy and has been a pioneer in the field for over 20 years.     Episode 14:"Bridging" As A Psychodramatist & Art Therapist Ning-Shing Kung's 25-Year Professional Journey

    Hello everyone, welcome! It's been a while since we've had an English episode. I'm honored to invite you onto this journey with Ning-Shing Kung , where she shared her 25-year journey as a psychodramatist and, later, an art therapist. Guest:Ning-Shing Kung is now retired from the mental hospital, where she worked as an art therapist. Now, she spends most of her time delivering psychodrama training online or in person to people in Asia. Ning-Shing is an immigrant from Taiwan, where she lived for about 40 years, and has settled down in NJ for about 25 years. She is bilingual.Ning-Shing has been involved with the psychodrama community for 24 years. She has helped many professionals in Asia be certified in the USA, at the early time when Taiwan Psychodrama Association was in the preparation stage and later built a reciprocal relationship with ABE. She has also integrated art therapy with psychodrama, adding another dimension to her bridge role. That made the two of us wonder -- what took us on this journey in the beginning? When we look back at the starting point, what was it that made us decide to take the route towards this profession? In this fourth episode, we (Jun and Clara) invited Daisy Cai, a current first-year at NYU Drama Therapy, to discuss how we each made our decision to come to this field.
