Red Sox managerial staff is gutted.  Alex Cora gone, Pete Fatse gone, Ramon Vazquez fired, and more. How do the Red Sox recover and move in a different direction? Major Congratulations to Chad Tracy as he assumes the role as Interim Manager. Red Sox will finish up against the Baltimore Orioles and move on to the Toronto Blue Jays and the Houston Astros.   **Correction - 04/26/2026 was Sunday, not Saturday.

Recapping the Red Sox/St. Louis series and opener in Minnesota. Against the Cardinals, there were encouraging signs of life with the bats as the Sox took their second series in a row. Willson Contreras seems unstoppable, Trevor Story starts a 9th inning run that leads to the Sox batting around. Jarren Duran has his first home run of the season. But against the Twins, Garrett Crochet missteps in his appearance at Target Field, giving up 11 runs including a grand slam. How do we get on a steady track to stop this madness? Well, at least the Blue Jays and Yankees are struggling too?  =\

Red Sox have strung together 2 wins in a row to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers. Red Sox relievers Tyler Uberstine and Tyler Samaniego just made their Major League debuts after being promoted from AAA Worcester. On the heels of a road trip to St. Louis to face the Cardinals, can Boston keep this going and build on the momentum? The Sox are about to see Dustin May as the starter in the series opener who comes into the game with an ERA of nearly 16!! This should be a very good opportunity. We’ll go around the league to see how Rob Refsnyder and Brennan Bernardino are doing with their new clubs. Go Sox!

Sonny Gray showed up to this battle against the San Diego Padres in Electric Fenway Park where the Red Sox’s bats came alive with home runs from Willson Contreras and Marcelo Mayer. Aroldis Chapman finished the job by recording the save which allows him to surpass Jonathan Papelbon on the All Time Save Leaders in MLB History. The water was dirty and Caroline was sweet as I joined Red Sox Nation in attending the Home Opener.  

Oh dear, we were flying high after the MLB Opening Day where the Red Sox beat the Cincinnati Reds with Garrett Crochet at the helm. Since then, we have fallen mightily with Sonny Gray, Ranger Suarez and Brayan Bello failing to keep control of the Reds and Astros lineups. With the home opener against the San Diego Padres coming up on April 3rd, can Fenway revive the vibes?

This is not a drill! We have trudged our way through winter and made it out on the other side! The thaw in the northeast is hopefully upon us!   The Red Sox are back at JetBlue Park.  Garrett Crochet, Roman Anthony, Trevor Story and Co. are getting off to a good start and we’re excited to watch the 2026 roster take shape. There’s no Alex Bregman but we have Willson Contreras, Caleb Durban, Sonny Gray, Ranger Suarez and so many more additions to be happy about and Opening Day is just around the corner. We’ll also recap what a ray of sunshine Joe Castiglione is and the Red Sox participants in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

After almost a full offseason with no Free Agent signings, the Red Sox land Ranger Suarez from the Philadelphia Phillies. Alex Bregman signs with the Chicago Cubs and the Red Sox identity is still under review. Can they contend with their new top tier pitching staff or do they need another bat to round out their offense? Glad to see this movement today!

By now we know that the Los Angeles Dodgers have achieved back to back World Series wins to take down the Toronto Blue Jays in a hard fought seven game battle of the wills. Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Will Smith could not be stopped despite best efforts from Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman, Vladimir Guerrero, Jr and Bo Bichette who played their hearts out. For the Red Sox, Garrett Crochet is a Cy Young finalist in the American League and Gold Gloves have been awarded to Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu for their performances, Alex Bregman has opted out of the remaining 2 years of his deal and the Free Agent market grows with Kyle Schwarber, Tarik Skubal and Bo Bichette. Where will 2026 take us?

Games 4, 5, and 6 of the ALCS Series is now tied and it all comes down to Game 7 in Toronto to decide it. Up to this point, we’ve seen Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. awaken, combined with the spectacular performance from Max Scherzer and a grand slam from Eugenio Suarez. In the NLCS, Shohei Ohtani has THREE HOME RUNS in Game 4 while pitching and getting 10 strikeouts! Absolutely amazing!   **episode correction: all World Series games will start at 8pm ET

Game 1 - Seattle beats Toronto - 3 to 1. Kevin Gausman vs. Bryce Miller A pitcher’s duel for the ages with each pitcher only giving up 2 hits after Seattle’s marathon 15 inning game at home against Detroit using every pitcher EXCEPT Miller. George Springer has a home run on the first pitch of the game. Can Cal Raleigh be stopped? He has another home run! Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alejandro Kirk and Addison Barger are all silenced at the Rogers Centre.  

Philadelphia Phillies fall to the Los Angeles Dodgers in tragic fashion on a costly error from Orion Kerkering. Milwaukee Brewers advance to oust the Chicago Cubs in retribution for the departure of Craig Counsell. The Toronto Blue Jays defeat the New York Yankees. And the only MLB team to never appear in the World Series, the Seattle Mariners, with the power of Humpy’s victory in the Salmon Run, triumph in the 15th inning against the Detroit Tigers and Tarik Skubal.   Aside from the payoffs, we’ll discuss potential free agents for the Boston Red Sox to consider as Craig Breslow, Sam Kennedy and Alex Cora assess the 2025 season. After the triumph of Game 1 in Gotham City, the Sox young guns, Brayan Bello and Connelly Early, fall to Carlos Rodon and Cam Schlittler who were unstoppable.  We’re all still deep in our grief over this.  But could this be 2003 all over again? Who is available in Free Agency to bolster the Boston roster and how will the MLB Playoffs wrap up.

The American League Wild Card is shuffling yet again!  The Red Sox continue to win to maintain their position as the Cleveland Guardians, the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros hang on around them. Game 2 of the Red Sox against Toronto is on 9/24/25 with Garrett Crochet, reaching a career high inning count this season, facing Max Scherzer. The Sox have done well this season away from home which is helpful as they took 2 games from Tampa Bay over the weekend and the first one from the Blue Jays. Can they continue?
