Great night to hang out with Coach Matt Morris and his 4 seniors, Peyton Goss, Kelsey Green, Madison Lafountain, and Elizabeth Murphy, in the outfield of a place they call home. Enjoy

"Shut up and listen".........1st & Sold Community got to hear how those few words help change a young man many years ago to make a path for him to develop young men today. We sat down with the Lexington Golden Bears new Head Coach Brett Mask and was absolutely blown away with his knowledge about football, life, and everything involving a successful program. "Do Right"...Coach Michael Parker is building a program at Sheffield based on Accountability and just doing right. Beau and Tracy had a great day with Coach Parker and enjoyed seeing his passion about the game and the students. "Loving the game again".........Beau and Tracy with the 1st & Sold Community had a blast sitting with Coach Sammie Coates to talk about his new role as Head Coach, his career, and his thoughts about giving back to high school athletes. His love for the game and his passion to pay it forward to young athletes is amazing. Coach is a man that loves the title "Coach" and everything that comes with it. His background and his experiences have been a blessing for him to lead him to his passion today. "Tomorrow Owes Today Nothing" .........Beau and Tracy with the 1st & Sold Community sat down with Coach Preston Judah of the Grissom Tigers and had a great time hanging out and getting to know Coach. Coach Judah was a lot of fun and is excited about getting "THE" job for him and his family. He is a tiger alum and loves his community and looks forward to serving the youth at Grissom. This is his first year at Grissom, but after speaking with him, i believe he will be at Grissom for a long time. Enjoy.

"Discipline and Accountability" .........1st & Sold Community had a great time hanging out with Coach Oscar Bonds of the Colbert County Indians. This is his first year at Colbert County and looks forward to bringing experience, tradition, hard work, discipline, and accountability to this program that has a past of success. Bonds had a great experience playing college football and knows what it takes to be successful. Enjoy.

"To serve them and each other"......... Beau and Tracy enjoyed the opportunity sitting down with Coach Dustin Goodwin. Coach is a man with tons of experience from playing at the college level to being a part of all levels in coaching. He was raised in a Coaches home and focuses on faith and hardwork to his success. "The main thing......the main thing"......... Sitting down with Coach Andro Williams was an absolute blast. The Danville Hawks Head Coach is entering his 5th season at Danville and is a guy that has tons of experience with success in football, life, etc. Coach Williams has great energy and just a fun guy to be around. He loves the opportunity to teach and mold his players / students into successful men with his energy. We hope you enjoy.

"Chasing Best".........Head Coach Trent Walker with Cullman is entering his 1st season as the head man with the Bearcats, but is definitely not a stranger in town. Coach is returning HOME where he grew up, played as a high school athlete, and where his beginning roots of starting a coaching career started. Walker has had many experiences from college level coaching to basic training in the military and is blessed to use his calling and those experiences to pay it forward to the young athletes in his program. Coach was a pleasure to talk to, and we hope you enjoy.

"Culture"...........2nd year Head Coach Kevin McCravy took the time with 1st & Sold to sit down with Beau and Tracy to talk about the community, the administration, and all the support he receives on a daily basis for his program. He is a man all about culture and building that culture the right way through hard work, being tough, and using his platform to help develop young men. "Be TRUE"...........Lauderdale County Head Coach Jeff Mason sat down with Beau and Tracy and had wonderful conversation about football, life, and most of all being TRUE. His love for the game, his community, and his players is definitely noticeable. His passion dates back to his childhood watching the Tigers on his Dads shoulders, to strapping the same helmet on Friday nights during his high school days. Enjoy!

"Loyalty".......Head Coach Heath Wood with the Central Wildcats is a great example of loyalty. His passion, love, and of course loyalty to the program has been a huge part of sustainability and success. The players, his staff, the administration, and the community are extremely blessed to have Coach Wood wearing the headset on Friday nights. "Compete"..... Beau and Tracy stopped by Loretto High School and got to spend some time with Head Coach Bryce Glass. Coach Glass is a Loretto Mustang through and through. He wore the mustang jersey on Friday nights growing up, and is excited to represent a school and a community that gave him so much growing up. Loretto has tons of tradition and history and he pushes himself, his staff, and his players to compete every day. Enjoy!

"The star of the team is THE TEAM"..... This week you will get to hear our conversation with Falkville Bule Devils football Coach Seth Ward. Coach Ward is entering his 5th season as the head coach of the Blue Devils and coming off a successful year after making it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. "Own it"..... When you think about High School sports, academics, etc......you will definitely think about Hartselle High School. We had the pleasure to sit down with Head Coach Bert Newton of the Tigers and discuss family, football, support, and his community. "Play The Next Play"..... A motto that id used everyday on the gridiron and in the class room at West Morgan High School. Head Coach Drew Phillips of the Rebels shares with us lots of information about his community, his family, his coaching staff, and how everyone comes together to make each other successful. "Doing the right thing!"..... When you think about mentors and people that have made a impact in many lives, one common factor is they are always "doing the right thing". We had the opportunity to sit down with a legend in high school football that has made a huge impact on so many lives by just doing that. Coach Godsey is entering his 28th season as a head coach in high school and he has an astonishing record of 280 wins and 84 losses. Coach Godsey doesn't worry about the numbers in the wins column, he is more focused on the lives he can make a difference in on a daily basis. "Leave it better than you found it".....Coach Gross shared with us that he was taught at a young age, to always leave it better than you found it. He continues to drive that mentality into his young athletes, his program, and his coaches today. It was a honor to spend some time with Coach Cody Gross and just talk about life, and football. "Get Up......One More Time!" Wonderful words to live by in a football locker room that also pertains to everyday LIFE. Sitting down with Coach Snider from Ardmore to talk football, life, and have some laughs was an absolute joy. Snider has a comforting spirit and looks forward to pouring his heart out to his players, coaches, and community to make sure they are loved. Enjoy!

"EAT (Effort Attitude Toughness)!" Coach Lane was extremely a blessing to talk to at Wilson High School. His passion for making a difference in a life of a student and others was a joy to listen to. He is a family man, a dad, a husband, and feels like his coaching title is a mission field for his family. Great man and a great coach. Enjoy!

"Make yourself valuable!" Coach Higgins has been extremely blessed having the opportunity to coach in 12 state championship. His success is strictly on hard work, being tough, and being valuable on a daily basis. It was a lot of fun being able to sit down and talk Mars Hill Panther football with Coach Higgins. "Its not what you do.......Its how you do it" Coach Perkins at Austin High School brought tons of wisdom, passion, and experience to our conversation. We left Austin knowing that the Black Bear community and players are in great hands of a man that loves and feels! Football is more than just a game of wins and losses, its an avenue to teach life. "Built Different" Beau and Tracy sat down with Coach Morrison at Florence High School and loved hearing his passion about "being there" for others through the great game of football. Coach Morrison is a family man with many years of experience and being a part of a tight knit group of coaches that still have a huge part in his life and coaching.

"Till your own land". What a wonderful blessing to sit down with Coach Scott Basden and hear him open his heart about his program, his players, his staff, his family, and his community. The guys definitely walked away from this interview feeling blessed and understanding how Muscle Shoals is a great place for people to call home.

"See something.......Do something" We had a great conversation this week with Coach John Ritter of the Decatur Red Raiders. Coach Ritter is starting his 2nd season at Decatur and excited about the culture he is building and the growth he sees in his team, and the community.

This week the guys headed to Killen and stopped by Brooks High School, to sit down and talk to Head Coach Tim Bowens of the Lions. Coach Bowens is a former Brooks Lion, Alabama Crimson Tide player, and loves his community.

Beau and Tracy headed to Priceville this week to talk with Head Coach Seth Parker of the Bulldogs. Coach Parker is a joy to be around and is a great man that loves his family, the players, the community, the school, and just all around a fun guy to be around. The Priceville Bulldogs are excited about the future with Coach Parker and his staff.

The guys hit the road to start their remote series called "Community & Coaches". This week they stopped by Deshler High School to talk with Head Coach Patrick Malone. Coach Malone is Deshler High School Alum that loves his community and loves having his dream job being the Head Coach of the Tigers historical program.

Beau and Tracy had the pleasure of hanging out with Olivia Whitmire, the sports journalist from WHNT News 19 in Huntsville Al. They talked about how she got started in journalism, the local high schools, and the communities all around north Alabama. Olivia shared funny behind the scenes moments in journalism and shared memories about her playing volleyball growing up. Olivia was a great guest and the guys loved being at WHNT studio.
